Tampy, who has four children, jumped on board the Talking Matters to Tāmaki movement in 2019. After seeing the impact of the programme on his own whānau, Tampy became a whanau-to-whānau coach. This accelerated his passion to educate others on the importance of quality communication for babies and young children under three years. Tampy has 10 years’ experience advocating for the rights of Pacific and Māori in the workplace as a frontline senior Union Delegate. Tampy is a fluent speaker of Gagana Sāmoa.
“As an agent of social change, I rise to the huge challenge of growing our children into confident thinkers, talkers and readers of today and for our future generations of tomorrow.”
