She carries a deep understanding of the power of storytelling to drive positive change as well as to demonstrate impact. Madeleine was attracted to Talking Matters by the unique, targeted message of the campaign and the power of the neurological science underpinning it.

Madeleine drives a strategic plan based on principles of whanaungatanga, akoranga and mana motuhake, powering Talking Matters to achieve great outcomes for the very youngest citizens of Aotearoa.  She manages a small team of activators who support whānau, services and educators to build language-rich environments for tamariki in the first 1000 days.
